On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, my gorgeous friend Rebecca married the love of her life Steve. The ceremony took place in a tiny chapel on a hill over looking the ocean. Stain glass windows allowed the sunlight to fill the room with a rainbow of colour, it was simply spectacular.
Weddings are filled with so many emotions; one minute your laughing and the next crying. I enjoy them very much, it's a chance to catch up with people you may not have seen in years or maybe even make new friends.
Apart from the food (#woglife!), getting dressed up is one of the things that gets me most excited for weddings (any formal occasion in fact). Choosing what dress to wear or the thought of how much your feet are going to kill in those shoes by the end of the night, is what life is all about.
Being a serial outfit (investment piece) repeater ( I like to buy investment pieces and actually wear them more than once!) I chose to wear my Camilla & Marc dress that I bought a year ago to wear to a function I was invited to. It is such a beautiful dress, why wouldn't I want to keep wearing it.
The shoes speak for themselves (love!) so I went for a loud , bold lip that consisted of a mix of MAC's Ruby Woo and Morange. Always remember when opting for a bold lip, keep the eyes neutral and pile on the individual lashes for a doll-like look.
I hope you all have had an amazing weekend full of love; love is everything xxxx
