August Street

Today I had the absolute pleasure of visiting the August Street Head Office in Sydney. August Street was created by the gorgeous Maryanne Petsinis around three years ago; and since then there has been no slowing down. The brand has gone from strength to strength now being stocked in Australia's largest department store David Jones as well as in boutiques Australia wide. 

Each piece is designed with the projections of high fashion and the personality of street trends which is what makes the brand appealing to such a wide range of women. I feel as though women from the ages of 17 right to women in their mid-30's will enjoy the brand. All the pieces are easy; easy to wear and most important easy to style. August Street allows your own personality to shine through the clothes which I think is the most important component when getting dressed in the morning; you want to wear something that you feel comfortable in.

For me, its as if I have been designing for them! I think all my dreaming about the perfect trench coat and bomber jackets manifested itself into actual clothes. Every single piece from the collection would fit into my wardrobe perfectly; literally.
